Passing Life's Test
Passing Life's Test:
AAAAUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHH!
(To Lonely Girl)
Fearing and regretting is of nothing availing;
Nor always to feel that you are failing.
What shall it mean, a hundred years from today?
Your most precious possession is your family;
And also your friends.
Leave the rest to eternity,
Where everything begins and ends.
The sound of your scream
Is the noise in a dream.
If you and your husband love each other,
Then all your troubles are mere bubbles, let them be.
If you are a loving mother,
Then your children love you and thank you--someday you'll see.
It is well for anyone with pressures, to vent;
But remember the golden gifts that life has sent.
While you are in the world, your mind and heart make your place;
Enjoy the days of your life as magic and miraculous grace.
Love your life, and love yourself: then your life will be full.
You cannot help but be a loved and appreciated unique individual.
When you are doing your best, then you should just forget the rest.
I, too, cry when I'm alone.
Go ahead--from time to time, have yourself a good cry.
But remember that, for you, the sun has shone;
Live deeply and fully before you die.
Live and give and take each day, and throw the frets and regrets away;
What will all those vapors matter, a hundred years from today?
Live and give, and take fully, every day.
Live life with zest; and try your best:
Then you will always pass the most important test.
Alive, you thrive.
You are succeeding with all that you are really needing.
