    Happy Winter Solstice


    Longer nights; and now, the longest night of the year.  Yet, no fear:
    Time will be more and more day, and less and less night, from here.
    The ancients thought sunlight could keep shortening and disappear.
    Like them, let us celebrate the light that grows and continues life each year.
    Let us celebrate life and light,
    Even in the longest night.
