Amore Immortale
Love whomever you will,
And let whomever you will, love you;
But no one will ever thrill
To the sight and the sound of you,
As much as I do.

Kiss whomever you please,
And let whomever you please, kiss you;
If it wouild win you, I'd pray on my knees;
But it won't, though I love to the lees.
And no one will ever miss you,
As much as I do.

Hold whomever you want,
And let whomever you want, your body hold;
The horror of it will haunt
My heart, till my corpse is cold.
I'd have mined my very veins for purple fountains for you,
Or sold my soul to have given you gold,
If I couild only hold you to me for life, and feel you hold:
To feel, in love and for life, our mutual passions unfold.
So, love whomever you will,
Till your heart is heavy, and your flesh is old:
But no one will ever love you,
As much as I do.
