Whistles in Rime
She echoes in the woods,
Her tears turn into snow,
Where did she go?
Does the dark breeze
Blow cold where whistles
Are sure to follow?
Her ribbons fall like lace,
In the forests, down below-
When will the gale show
Her face to me once more?
Where did my twin go?
I’ll search the world above,
I’ll search the world below-
I’ll pray to Great Estorias,
For only he knows
Where dark breezes blow,
Where painful whistles show
What my heart doesn’t know
Where trails of tears flow…
Where did my twin go?
