Shattered Glass
Cracked crystals that slit
Deep into flesh and bones,
Feeling dejected and alone
As my fingers and palms
Create red-dye mosaics-
Cannot pick up pieces
Alone, oh all alone!
Blown by rocks and trees-
Shattered hopes and dreams,
Fragile future, like glass,
Pass into another phase-
Phase two, what to do?
Face these shards alone
Or atone and go back,
Back to my zone?
The zone of comfort,
I am never alone,
Life equals broken glass-
Shatters as I pass from
One test to the other....
Shatter my world and
Create your own-
Let me cry my tears,
Never let me cry alone...
Starting to feel You
Never to be alone..
Troubles will slowly pass
No remnants remain of
The once shattered glass,
Grace comes, at last.
