Letter of Resignation
Dear Boss,I have served you for many, many years.
Whenever You said, "Jump" I would ask
"How high?" I don't even remember why I
Took this job in the first place.
The time has come for me to give You
Some space-in fact-lot's of space.
Truth is, I am tired of seeing Your face
Whenever I come in to work. And I know
That this is last minute, but since I am
Already in it, I just wanted to tell
You that I am quitting-not tomorrow but today.
I am never coming back to this firm again.
There are way too many Hell-raising
Associates working here already. There is
No way that I can advance to the Executive Position
Or GET PAID what I truly deserve, Unless I
Quit this job and Join the Reserves. So it is
With a Glad Heart that I bid you "Adieu".
And DON'T TEXT OR CALL ME-
I CHANGED MY NUMBER to let
You know that I won't be calling
Anytime, in a future nearest YOU!
Sincerely,
Saved and Moving On
