Culmination
The end of another day,
O Moonlight- let me hide...
Do not expose the rivers
Inside mirrors, Nor the dew
On mountains of chocolate-
Let me put to rest
The Ghosts of my past,
And never utter a sound
To Grief's shroud glance, For
He must never find me...
In ebony's veil, I steal away,
Go find yourself some other prey!
Some other catch will surely do
For I am too far gone!
Although the rivers flood too fast,
I shy away, as I move past
Rivers to Seas-Just let me be, Please!
I must break these mirrors
That show me my fate!
I must defy it's knowledge,
He will create in me a new
Heart to withstand the journey,
For this heart is made of glass.
