Mid-Night
Sali
Myriads of sparkling
Diamond trinkets of glory
Blaze on in a black coat,
Covered in thick cottons;
Wrapped up in a blanket
Of silk haze and smoke,
Intangible tears of joy evoke
What no scientist could create-
Such spectacular gems of
Explicit symmetry for me
To behold in the twilight-
What wonders in these
Late hours can I begin
To explain or simplify?
Only sheer Intelligence
Can create something
So indescribably beautiful.
