    This is a new series of poetry God laid on my heart to start. It's called the "Respect My Mind" series. This is the first part, enjoy!

    More than That

     Let's go deeper than
    We have ever gone before...
    I want more than just sex,
    I want more than just a
    One night stand, I want You
    To understand who you are
    About and what I am made of.
    Do you think I'm silly?
    That I will just give up
    This gift called "Virginity"?
    So you can feel good for
    One night, while you leave me
    Scarred for the rest of my life?

    I want more than that!
    I want true love, real love,
    A love that is not based on
    The volume of my breasts
    Or my physical aspects that
    Can deceive you, leave you
    Speechless and lustful- I want
    To be able to trust You!
    But I can't trust You, Unless...
    Unless I know who you are,
    Who you believe in, Where do
    You wanna go in life?
    What are your dreams?
    What is your relationship with Christ?

    If all you want is sex,
    Then you better find the next
    Dumb girl that comes your way-
    This is not going down-
    Won't happen for you today,
    So, get on your way! Because
    I don't have time to play
    These crack-head games You
    Boys like to play! I have too much
    Ridin' to stay with you...
    I don't need you because
    I want more than that-
    God has more than that
    For a beautiful woman like me.
