The Reconstruction
Where are You leading me?
Where is my destination?
Are all my hopes and dreams laid
On a faith-less, worth-less foundation?
Why are you tearing me down?
Why can’t I stay the same?
Why are You destroying my soul
And causing me to be ashamed?
Everything that I have ever done
Was done to Honor Your name-
But if You keep hurting my heart,
I will never recover from pain.
Crying, observing last moments,
A new discovery to understand-
What purpose do You have for me
And what is the master plan?
I do not know what You know
But I made this determination-
My life in You is not in vain,
But on a firm, steady foundation.
Everyday, You work on me,
You build-up broken souls,
I only see half of the building
But You see everything, the whole.
