Somebody down rather
Than pick somebody
Up with a smile or
Just a kind word…
It’s easy to kill
Someone with thought-
Less phrases like

You’re too Big,
You’re too Skinny,
You’re too this and
You’re too that, Rather

Than finding some-
Thing better to come
Out of your mouth…
It’s easy to find
Fault with others,
Fault with the world,
Rather than helping
Others and changing
The world around you…
Maybe true change starts
When you finally decide
You want to change You.

It’s easy to always
Play the victim when
Someone does you wrong
Rather than loving
The one who did the wrong-
Forgiveness is much harder
Than holding a grudge.

Easy may be the
Safest route you take-
But for me, I’d rather
Break out of my skin
Than take the easy
Way in this life-

Nothing worth while
Is ever that easy.
