The Mother of us all...

Poem Commentary

A poem where I try to point out our common humanity as we are all of one blood and common origin, something most forget these days. Blessings to all brothers and sisters out there, Whiskers.

The Mother of us all...

When we usually think of Mothers

Our own Dearest comes to mind,

The one who brought us from her womb

And who our youngest eyes did find.

Who held us in her loving arms

At who’s breast we early fed,

Who comforted us throughout our tears

And who tucked us into bed.

Who tried to teach us right from wrong

And guide us down our path,

To the men and women we’ve become

In this life’s aftermath.

But have we ever given thought

Back to the early days,

To the first woman, wife and mom

Created in God’s way?

Feminine perfection

Raised from Adam’s side,

To complement the man he was

As helpmeet and his bride.

She must have held all promise

In her beauty and her soul,

Spiritually at one with God

In Eden’s Paradise of old.

And though she failed God’s single test

And took forbidden fruit,

And paid the price that we still pay

She once again God knew,

And bore and raised them sons and daughters

Pointing them back to God,

Abel first, then later Seth

Who taught the Truth’s of God.

So when giving thanks for Mothers

Don’t forget to thank our God,

For the one He chose to procreate

All humanity abroad.

Genesis 3:15, God proclaims to Satan in the form of the serpent that He will eventually put hostility between him and all humanity (her seed).

Fulfilled with Jesus resurrection from the grave, and tied prophetically through the Virgin Mary espoused to Joseph, directly through the Godly line all the way back through Seth to Adam & Eve.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
