Christmas
Merry Christmas to the children,
expecting toys and games to play;
awaking Christmas morning,
with eye's big bright and gay.
Merry Christmas to the parents,
with all their shopping done;
now's the time to just sit back,
and enjoy their children's fun.
Merry Christmas to the lovers,
with the twinkle in their eye;
who sit beside the fire,
hold hands, kiss and give a sigh.
Merry Christmas to our friends,
when we stop in to wish our best;
with whom we share an evening,
and feel like family more than guest.
Merry Christmas to the down and out,
with hope this holiday brings;
Good Health, Good Luck and a good hot meal.
above all other things.
Merry Christmas to our SAVIOR,
on His Birthday once again;
and thank our GOD for sending Him,
the Greatest Gift to men.
