Old Lang Flying, a little New Year's nonsense
Should old acquaintance bee forgot
For wearing his yellow jacket,
Or bumbling as he drones on
About how mud dauber’s pack it,
Annoying as he is to some
As a bee in someone’s bonnet,
He tries his best to just bee hive
But he’s as cockney as English hornets.
A honey of a worker true
While searching out his nectar,
Pollinating royal jelly juice
Not an alcoholic stinger.
Forgetful as this WASP may bee
Or due to his proclivity,
The buzz is that he may be queen
Or just confused… in his seniority.
