Inside Storm Clouds
Life is hard when your health is poor
When your strength is sapped to its very core
And you rest all day yet you still need more.
When your state of mind has sunk down real low
Because around each bend is another blow
Like your trapped deep down in the undertow.
Though you try your best to hold on real tight
Keep your chin up high and keep up the fight
Everything gets dark for the coming night.
Month after month year in year out
After all your battles still you’ve lost each bout
No wonder all you can see is doubt.
You just need a break to recoup your strength
Just some sweet relief before your soul does faint
So with happiness you can re-acquaint.
Thus the winds must change and the tides must turn
So keep up the faith so you’ll someday learn
When the silver lining in the clouds return…
then Sunshine!
