Spring Reigns
Ah, the sheer beauty of a forest rain
It’s steady presence above ordained
It’s gentle caress upon each crown
As I sit undercover, transfixed spellbound.
My senses are stirred in a quieted way
As the air’s new fragrance re-juvenate
And as the canopy glistens as it is bathed
I sit here rooted on it’s earthly vase.
The sound sedates…as it drones on
It’s cooling touch…revives hereupon
To taste its chaste pureness upon ones tongue
Takes me back to an earlier time when I was young.
This experience borders upon the Devine
As God sets forth the seasons as He designed
For our best interest to supply all our needs
And for sensory stimulation, His efforts exceed.
