    Never be swayed by the opinions of others. Inspirations are are gift from a higher power,

    The Critic's Seat

    Ask not of me to be critical of you

    I will leave that for others to do

    Neither will I not sit in a critic’s seat

    nor allow me to take a critic’s stand

    Especially when all that’s required

    To criticize any person or anything

    speak about what’s most obvious

    And dole out a personal opinion.

    Be who you are I’ll be who I am

    As for the critic who gives a damn

    I enjoyed this very much. One word of advice...watch those double negatives (they make a positive) ..on line 3 remove Neither or Not and it will read much much better other than that I love the poem and the meaning behind it.
