Self Love
Is there not one person in this world that’s left? That won’t misrepresent to please someone else.
Especially if it’s a stranger they have only met
Albeit a profile that was written on the Internet?
No one is a Godsend, and shouldn’t pretend to be
Nearly everyone have their faults, in all honesty
To deceive one there one would be most inane
Then think others would do less would be insane.
Relationships shouldn’t be about me! Me! Me! Me!
But one of mutual admiration based upon honesty.
Tho’ never okay to self-gloss accomplishments
There is a part of a basic truth wove in its fabric.
No one is ever going to like every soul they meet,
Thus there should never be, reasons for any deceit
For those who look to garner another's affection.
Be boldly who you are, have no fear of rejection
To one's own self one must always remain true
Misrepresenting self is not the right thing to do
Regardless of what others may do, just be yourself
Love being you and not worry about anyone else
