Tomorrow's Today
Yesterday I stated tomorrow's today
So far and away so close to decay
Fast-forward foreshadowed to play
A statued state of mind I rewind
To the zeros, tears burn holes through mirrors
Reflecting pieces of me
As if once I was a red rose dancing to black years
Leaving fragments in black holes
A cracked stem shackled by thorns
Kisses formed by a history of soil
There was a dry spell
Until ink poured from my eyes
To drink the poison I despise and
Paint my skin elegantly, emphasized by
The truth of whom writes within me
I am simply a spectator
A translator of this foreign member inside me
Excempt from purpose or direction
I will continue to follow sorrow
Like a broken clock to tomorrow
Calendar of Monee, paint melts the days
Twenty years from now, thirty years from now
Is today
Yesterday I stated tomorrow's today
So far and away so close to decay
So far and away so close to decay
Fast-forward foreshadowed to play
A statued state of mind I rewind
To the zeros, tears burn holes through mirrors
Reflecting pieces of me
As if once I was a red rose dancing to black years
Leaving fragments in black holes
A cracked stem shackled by thorns
Kisses formed by a history of soil
There was a dry spell
Until ink poured from my eyes
To drink the poison I despise and
Paint my skin elegantly, emphasized by
The truth of whom writes within me
I am simply a spectator
A translator of this foreign member inside me
Excempt from purpose or direction
I will continue to follow sorrow
Like a broken clock to tomorrow
Calendar of Monee, paint melts the days
Twenty years from now, thirty years from now
Is today
Yesterday I stated tomorrow's today
So far and away so close to decay
