One Nation Under Satan
One nation under Satan, the puritans under any conditions never thought, sleep deprived of freedom as they sang in tune, “One Nation Under God,” as the people sipping wine in the trees slipped poison iodine in their drinks, they took the apple from the evening leaves derived from a women, her name was Eve, they sold their souls to the devil without ever knowing screaming in screened dreams, the lust, the lies, the absolute immoral disposition of todays society in tomorrows ambition for false truth, sobriety within a syringe, the delicate hands of vanity embrace their cold shoulders, they cringe so grim in the lament of vanished sanity, a pill for happiness, a pill for the skys cream defying gravity from the machine, a newspaper tragedy within every motion, artificial beauty ruthlessly artistic, partially sore from sex of the core from an ocean shore, the seeds have been scattered, one nation under Satan, allowing him to take you for granted, shameless, naked, the blatant disregard for the affliction of others, the myth of lovers cutting their wrists within nightmares heartless heating mist, the mirror, it scares you to look too long, beware of the bright lights of right and wrong where you are blinded to the kind rightness of wrong, the righteous sing songs of hope for a better world, yesterday, today slowly floating lower away like a ruptured balloon from the clouds growing closer to the sounds of one nation under Satan, the façade.
