Pride - Not Meant for Red
Peasants among thou royal kings
And queens, for it is you who know
How to live, smile down upon us
For those ingredients you ironically boast upon
Animalistic behavior we lack
For we are that of small talk behind each back
Sun-burnt immersed within water
“Continue to reproduce!”
May they stay imprisoned between buildings
Advertisement, and giant business demons
So much pride, not to wipe ones own ass
May we grace our presence upon you?
Oh pretty please! A pleasant plea
Not of envy, perhaps a higher place?
Produce, oh trail follower guidance of light
Like the horizon is so bright oh great one
Lead us like sheep into a delusional peace
Over the cliff like slaughter
So afraid to laugh, clap, dance, without judgment
Upon thee, may we speak with
Hands Like Truth:
It is he or she who has had everything
Now with nothing of material
Whom is most happy to grace
And he or she who has had nothing
And now rules the world
That are most mournful in melancholia.
For it is not pride, but passion that will prevail.
And queens, for it is you who know
How to live, smile down upon us
For those ingredients you ironically boast upon
Animalistic behavior we lack
For we are that of small talk behind each back
Sun-burnt immersed within water
“Continue to reproduce!”
May they stay imprisoned between buildings

So much pride, not to wipe ones own ass
May we grace our presence upon you?
Oh pretty please! A pleasant plea
Not of envy, perhaps a higher place?
