Smile in the Game of Sundial
Criss-crossed shadows we play chess onThe spaces transfigure larger
as the watchmen stop the clocks
As we undress the doors lock
our faces on sketches of paper
Every few years the artist brings back the eraser
and scatters the ashes next to a new,
more beautiful portrait of a goddess
in the night sky, connect the dots
protect the plot
The scheme of parables parallel and bright
like the moons halo
Distraught within a million thoughts a second
Blooming orchids in the garden of silence
Violence between species of animals
The sound of crickets singing in a choir
Vortex of souls I call upon
to display the next seconds vine of events
The murderers descent into madness
Prevent with pure water from flower vases
Re-trace with dull lead to the bedroom of beds
Red and black paint
May I invest in pain
Enough said, carry on enemy of Zion
The remedy within the mathematics of language
Carry on, enough said
I've reserved myself naked
to all of human existence
Check mate just seconds before sunset.
