    I am the school boy that hangs from the flagpole
    in the middle where the bell rings
    We sang the star spangled banner 1000 times
    My lifeless eyes
    I dangle here for you to see
    I leave you traumatized, un-tangled, my love pretend
    My political nightmare
    Nightingale strangled from the free
