I Love You - Not as the Word
Saying I love youDoes it really mean anything
But just because I don’t say the words
Does not mean I don’t have it
I was told how much I was loved
As a child, now and now again
And people today
Tell me they love me
I just think silently
They are my world
A feeling to passionate for words
I just proudly sing down the streets
Driving in my car knowing the world
Loves me to death and forever more
I take a step back
From the moons perspective
Spinning it with my large fingers
Angels just above like low clouds in the sky
Loving every minute of life
The tough times, the lost love
Looking back at my first memories
My first crush, my first lust, my first love
My mother who watched after me
The fun times
The board games to the sports games
The time I lost my job
And Still found a way
A little child writes like an adult
With finger paint and diamond shining pens
I love my world, as it loves me.
