I Saw Their Rings, & The Way He Looked at Her
"This is coming from a married man, you're everything I always wanted," He says in the middle of an intense intellectual conversation about black holes and their gravitational pull, He pulls her close to him and says, "Listen, My eyes are gods to glisten, for your eyes in prison, your escape, I am from you as you are to me, my name is such and such, nice to meet you, so far to be, I could love you like the earth woshiping the sun, my hands are grenades paving landscapes of pavement, painting graves, saying simple names for complex train of thought, I've got this sort of store bought way of saying I'm okay. She says, "I'm yours," and the story begins. He re-lives the night of a first time love, and says goodbye. Little does she know, she'll never see him cry.
