The Way They Stare at me on Airplanes
Bearded dragon, breathing fire
Creator of havoc, here in peace
Blemished eyes, a newspaper disease
Judge he, and ye shall be judged
Stereotype of unethical sound
Touch me with finger points and whispers
Canyon like mouths with rivers leading nowhere
Crayons and paper, construction scraper
Color me black, fucking nothing, that’s that!
Coming off the page I raise concern
Cracked walls where I lay my head
Watching you with eyes like shadows
You want me to play the part
You want me to play
Loving life, no way, I’m sorry
You wished for a plane crash, you’ll get
Window pane of ridden trash
I’m waste, wasted, by nature I am
What I am, something light shedding
Like air, there’s nothing there
But I love it so much, their
So when I say I’m your equal
Is that fair?
Creator of havoc, here in peace
Blemished eyes, a newspaper disease
Judge he, and ye shall be judged
Stereotype of unethical sound
Touch me with finger points and whispers
Canyon like mouths with rivers leading nowhere
Crayons and paper, construction scraper
Color me black, fucking nothing, that’s that!
Coming off the page I raise concern
Cracked walls where I lay my head
Watching you with eyes like shadows
You want me to play the part
You want me to play
Loving life, no way, I’m sorry
You wished for a plane crash, you’ll get
Window pane of ridden trash
I’m waste, wasted, by nature I am
What I am, something light shedding
Like air, there’s nothing there
But I love it so much, their
So when I say I’m your equal
Is that fair?
