Jesus, My Heart is an Apple
Jesus, may you eat this apple
I hold in my hand so bright
There are sky lights in my eyes
A shiny red gift of beauty
For only your tongue to taste
Please, Please, Jesus
Take this apple from my hand
Heart shaped a scent of strawberry flavor
He reached over and grasped
The temptation, you can’t resist
He took a bite so shameless
Now that you have seen the black
I could imagine you understand
The evil in me
The evil in you
It’s non negotiable.
I hold in my hand so bright
There are sky lights in my eyes
A shiny red gift of beauty
For only your tongue to taste
Please, Please, Jesus
Take this apple from my hand
Heart shaped a scent of strawberry flavor
He reached over and grasped
The temptation, you can’t resist
He took a bite so shameless
Now that you have seen the black
I could imagine you understand
The evil in me
The evil in you
It’s non negotiable.
