    Poem Commentary

    To all those who have found love via an internet romance. I know of a few ... But a specific couple comes to mind. I think they'll know who they are. : )

    You've Got Mail

    Distance can be so cruel sometimes ..
    Keeping me far away from you.
    So I put my thoughts into rhyme,
    Because, I know not what to do.
    I long to be with you my love ..
    To hear you laugh and see you smile.
    To smell your scent and feel your touch,
    If only for a little while.

    .

     Even though we are world's apart ..
    My desire intensely burns.
    You consume my thoughts, fill my heart,
    To the point of no return.
    The longing controls these words I type ..
    From my heart to my fingertips.
    Dreaming of the day, when I can say,
    These loving words from my longing lips.

    .

    Knowing that you're there all alone ..
    Makes me feel so helpless and sad.
    I want to be with you, and need you,
    Cause, my heart is hurting so bad.
    But in the meantime, Please know this ..
    You're the spark that ignites my fire.
    And until the day we have our first kiss,
    You're the only one I desire.

    Love this tribute to all the distant-lovers out here, everywhere!-Knowing that you're there all alone .. Makes me feel so helpless and sad. I want to be with you, and need you, Cause, my heart is hurting so bad. But in the meantime, Please know this .. You're the spark that ignites my fire. And until the day we have our first kiss, You're the only one I desire.-My gosh, this really hits it on the mark!! Before John and I first met, it was like waking up everyday, to be a day closer to that first kiss! I wrote a piece about that day..its called First Kiss..lol, but I havent posted it yet. I thought it would be cool if John went through, after my memories of the whole thing, and laced his stanzas in-like a two voice thing!-We are actually doing alot of projects like that right now!-but yah, buddy-this poem really nails it! Hey maybe your girl ,and Word, and I-should double sometime!!-just no rodeo-bronco bars-ok? We dont need to end up in jail,LOL!!Tj/Maddi

    Hey Maddi! :) Thanks for the kudos! :) I'm glad you enjoyed it ... It was written with Tierra and Terry as well as John and you in mind. :) You two make a great couple and it's so nice to know that true love can be found via the internet. Let me know when you and John post First Kiss. It ought to be a hot piece .. knowing you two! :) As far as te double date goes ... hmmm . I guess It'll have to wait until I get to meet "her" before we can double. :) Maybe someday ... Anyway, you're right .. we should stay away from rodeo-bronco bars. I'm really not a big fan of Country and Western, I prefer a Rock 'n' Roll club myself. :) Much better beat for ridin' too! lol! :) Thanks again! :) Ken

    Knight!!!, it is so sweet,,,you captured that love in the net..ah...beautiful...i am quite mesmerize by this poem...you made me feel that thrilling excitement and the surprise brought by the e-mail coming from a special person...
