    Haven't We Met Before?

    Haven't we met before?
    No, it's not a pick-up line.
    I swear I've seen you somewhere,
    Maybe it was in a past-life?

    Haven't we met before?
    Was it down by Central Park?
    Yes, I think it was, or maybe ..
    It wasn't - It was kind of dark.

    Haven't we met before?
    Maybe somewhere near the stream?
    Rehashing long lost memories ..
    While we revisited our dreams?

    Haven't we met before?
    Two hearts longing to be one.
    Along life's lonely broken path
    Under the summer's lonely sun?

    Haven't we met before?
    Two souls dancing by the door,
    No?, Maybe we're just mere strangers?
    Are you sure we haven't met before?

    Huh? I could've sworn ...
    So, May I buy you a drink?  :)

    I think we all see face that are familiar in life. Several times I have had people say that to me. Once a woman who I was in line behind at a restaurant turned and said, "How are you, Bob?" I said, "I’m sorry you have me confused with someone else. She replied, "I should know my own brother." She was six inches from my face and stared for about thirty seconds and said, "No, you’re not Bob."

    It was a weird experience and not the first time. Once I with my first wife and the coach of the school's basketball team said to us that a coach of a nearby team looked just like me. He further stated we should go with the next against game against that team. We traveled and watched the game. Sure enough, there I was coaching the opposing team. We were identical done to the beard, glasses, body size, the way we wore our hair, age and walk. My wife and I sat with our jaws on the floor trying to pick them up. We were so struck by the "twin" we didn't even get up at the end of the game to go talk to him. I wonder if he has gained as much weight as I have over the years?
