    Sorry Jason - but, there's a new butcher on the block! ....

    Save Me!!

    Save me from the Evil that lurks within,
    Double personality - the split begins!
    One side a gentleman, the sophisticated touch,
    The other a madman - the pressures too much!

    You'd swear I was just another Jeckyll & Hyde
    Personalities battle for control of my mind!
    My brain exploding - My beastly cries,
    Bloody mangled bodies - Secured alibies!
    ~~~
    Save Me!! - Save Me!!
    Can you save my soul?!
    Save Me!! - Save Me!!
    A free life is my goal!!
    ~~~
    They say I'm crazy but they don't understand,
    Exactly what it's like to be another man!
    They criticize everything I do and say,
    But, I'll pay them back in another way!!

    Screams of terror - Rushin' through my head,
    They'll soon regret everything they've said!
    Shreaks of fear - Cryin' out in the dark,
    They pray for their deaths as I rip them apart!!

    A free life is my goal!!

    There's no place to hide - No you can't run away,
    People are ya listenin' to what I say!
    Mass murder here- Mass murder there,
    People I'm warnin' ya - ya better beware!!

    Forget about saving me - my soul is lost,
    Personality number two has become the boss!
    A bloody demise - has become my life,
    Deranged and irate - I carry a knife!!

    People - You can't save me!

    A free life- Huh!
    To Hell with that goal!!

    I'm normally not into the darker side of poetry but this is very good. You put the thoughts and wording together so well. The artistry is magnificent. Great write.....Swan

    Thank you very much purpleswan! I have a tendency to write Dark - but I write Light as well ... I try to keep things mixed up. Thank you so much for your humbling comments, they are much appreciated! :) Ken

    Wow!...I believe we all possess another side,sometimes it takes a moment or catastrophy to bring that out....check out demons within....Save me sounds like the sequel..did I spell that right,lol

    Thanks Reno! :) I appreciate it very much .. I actually wrote this song after returning from a "B grade horror movie I saw back in the 80's I think it was called "Nightmare" ? Anyway I'm on my way over to your page to check out demons within ... Thanks again my friend! :) Ken

    Thanks Angel! :) Yes ... one of many Dark song lyrics I wrote back in the 80's - I was very inspired by Ronnie James Dio and a lot of my dark lyrics reflect this. Thanks again! Ken
