     Sometimes somethings work,
    sometimes somethings don't
    But things forever change
    This doesn't mean they won't

    Today I loved you blissfully
    But yesterday wasn't as much
    Today I can't live without you
    But in years we may lose touch

    Tomorrow I may meet a stranger
    Who becomes a very dear friend
    We may spend many days together
    or this friendship just may end 

    I may have many years left
    Or I may just have a few
    everything is planned out for me
    everything in my life I do
