Always a backpacker
I was born with itchy feetI was always destined to travel
So I set of to follow my dream
This was my story to unravel
I was blessed with many tales
from the amazing people I met
Normally ending the conversation
with 'You havn't been there yet?'
I gained wisdom from others
opened my mind to understand
I camped out under stars
walked for miles barefoot on sand
I visited many beautiful places
there's still alot more I have to see
I'm a backpacker forever
How my life is meant to be
Everyone needs a rest
after every single mile
so I found a beautiful place
to settle for a while
I made a house a home
I created a family too
a little extra baggage to carry
in every little thing I do
Some people like possessions
some are ruled by society
But a backpack and a ticket
Is the only life for me!
