    Guide my way

     I have struggled through life
    learning lessons along the way
    It seems to of made me
    the man I am today
    I've hurt others
    telling truth with bad intent
    It is worse than any lie 
    I could ever invent
    But I turned a new leaf
    embraced wings of change
    The person I was long ago
    now seems very strange
    For all the hurt I caused
    I apologise to all
    I have risen up
    from my downward spiral
    I will honour this new intent
    But for now I pray
    That god will look over me
    and help to guide my way
