cultural instincts
stick out like the being on a dark nightunpleasant moons tipping out
from behind the beckoning yonder hills
the trees claws scratch the midnight air
like an animal we feel these instincts
like the bite of a snake
they have been given to us
without choice to learn live and appreciate
every delicate being
every cultural instinct
and we shall truly be at peace
