Farewell...

I gave you all I had,
invested my passion into you,
also my creativity
and many years of my life too
But you chewed me up
and then you spat me out
when we disagreeed
It was you who'd scream and shout
You treated me like a child
you gave no respect to me
but I rose above this
It was just how it was going to be
You're just very negative
jealous some may say
so I channelled my inner chi
to get me through each day
Sadly you're not as wise as me
I can tell that by your mood
You don't spread happiness
with being horrible or rude
So you are breaking the chain
and when each link is broken
What could of been an amazing place
will be a memory just spoken
I have to say goodbye
as there once were happy times too
you took that all away from me
and many others too
Good luck to you
I'm going to miss that place
The buzz of business
and each smiling daily face
I hope one day
I will OWN my dream too
and I thank you for teaching me
How not to be like you!!!
