throe
this burned out house
burned to the ground
scarred, charred and fallen down
floors stained by acid tears
one day became two bad years
this house was grand but broke like glass
we cut our hearts and bled in the grass
like bittersweet we choked the garden
the soil grew cruel and began to harden
you were the fire
but i am in flames
this burned out home it has my name
i used a house as my motif
and touched upon disturbing grief
