you invade my privacy
enter my dreams
and break my heart each night
what is with this piracy
where you steal off and steer clear of the light
devil or angel, who fails at flight

i am helpless and vulnerable asleep
tis why i pray my soul to keep

tease me with your pulchritude
unequal in depth or attitude
and no one can walk with you here

you kiss me so deeply in dreams
that i fear the gods may cry envy
i tear at my seams
now i fall without any

If I wasn't forced to type 50 characters I would write only one word. Beautiful. Just Beautiful.

Well written- the reader shares delightful dream and then the low of waking up.

Not ashamed to say I had to look up the word... pulchritude...lol....anyway...I can't help but envy your dreams and/or your role in it.....this could almost be to some a nightmare as the pleasure is but out of your grasp....the teasing tone of this had a foreplay kind of vibe that was quite nice....enjoyable read my friend as always....nicely done....Cher

ONCE AGAIN YOU AMAZE ME! Why is it I envy this person so... the one you dream of who is trying to steal ur soul, taking what is not hers, though it seems for her own devlish pleasures , but i promise she wants to stay , if only you would let her.

all i ever wanted to hear about JUST ONE of my poems is someone say...."that is amazing" or "you amaze me ." you have said both of theses things to me and YOU, Bree, amaze me. love you.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
