    One single rose..
    Lost in a sea of forget me not;
    losing my hope to despair,
    I long to feel your touch again
    your fingers running through
    my hair.

    Holding on to memories
    some fade way to fast,
    I thought when you told me
    you love me
    that forever it would last.

    One single rose you gave me
    now etched within my mind,
    holding me in lethargy;
    can love ever be mine?

    Winds of time have shifted
    your memory all but gone,
    only thing that's left of you
    are the words to this song.
