    A feather fell from heaven

    A feather fell from heaven
    it landed in my heart,
    it gave me hopes and dreams
    I thought would never part.

    It tickled every corner
    of my souls accent,
    it stroked me with wisps
    of granduer I knew it was
    heaven sent.

    Then as the wind picked up
    the feather then took flight,
    and left me in a darkened place
    absent from its light.

    I searched my heart for traces
    to see what was left behind,
    that's when I found the truth
    it was there the whole time.

    Now I know I'm beautiful
    an amazing creature of light,
    tempered by my spirit
    I know I'll be alright.
