A bit of blarney
One cloudy day in springtime fare
and I at the market selling me wares
I saw one lassy divine as could be,
standin near a lamp post
a smilin at me.
I smiled right back
as I tipped her my hat
and gave her a wink to concur,
She then walked over ,
said her name was Clover
and
after that is was all just a blur.
Seems I was hit in the head, and left for dead
all for the change in me pocket,
So if you find yourself in this place,
remember these clever words.
Don't be a tippin your hat at no women
and zip up your purse and locket.
