Little raggamuffin
I'm just a rag doll
sitting on a bed,
my stuffing's sticking
out of my tummy and
my head.
Smudge marks on my face
and gum in my hair,
all from being tossed about
and sat on in a chair.
Patch work and stitches
adorn my every side,
evidence that I'm not able
to run away and hide.
I'm called little raggamuffin
cause of all my rips and tares,
I know at least five of them
are from falling down the stairs.
Though I'm worn and ragged
with stains from head to toe,
my owner finds me beautiful
and always tells me so.
For in the eyes of love
I'm worth more than measure,
and in those eyes I have become
a little ragged treasure.
sitting on a bed,
my stuffing's sticking
out of my tummy and
my head.
Smudge marks on my face
and gum in my hair,
all from being tossed about
and sat on in a chair.
Patch work and stitches
adorn my every side,
evidence that I'm not able
to run away and hide.
I'm called little raggamuffin
cause of all my rips and tares,
I know at least five of them
are from falling down the stairs.
Though I'm worn and ragged
with stains from head to toe,
my owner finds me beautiful
and always tells me so.
For in the eyes of love
I'm worth more than measure,
and in those eyes I have become
a little ragged treasure.
