Worms of the Heart
Beating slowly with care and ease
My heart carrys on with its disease
Sapping my strenth, this parasite drains
I feel it creeping slowly in my veins
Holding myself I try to fight back
It only laughs and continues to sap
My heart feels heavy, decayed, and gone
Only my pain tells me somethings wrong
The leeches of my own kind
Slowly ruin be but to them im bound
My body throbs from a lifetime of woe
But pain I shall never show
If she knew what parasite she gave me
Could she, would she, come back and reform thee?
With our love, she brought me to terms
When she left me, my heart formed worms.
My heart carrys on with its disease
Sapping my strenth, this parasite drains
I feel it creeping slowly in my veins
Holding myself I try to fight back
It only laughs and continues to sap
My heart feels heavy, decayed, and gone
Only my pain tells me somethings wrong
The leeches of my own kind
Slowly ruin be but to them im bound
My body throbs from a lifetime of woe
But pain I shall never show
If she knew what parasite she gave me
Could she, would she, come back and reform thee?
With our love, she brought me to terms
When she left me, my heart formed worms.
