The Graveyard (New Ver.)
in an old church upon a hillwhere kids go to seek a thrill
stands the monument, desperate totem
the dead rests around and beneath them
they say the dead start to walk about
eating anything soft or stout
few have seen and many have heard
but everyone has an opinion shared
one day many years ago
some crazy kids went up to throw
a party among the rotten tombs
beer and drugs lite up the moon
the cool breeze, dead leafs
bare trees, and dead things
as the teens danced to their favorite songs
fearing no one, not realizing somethings wrong
the dead rose form their graves and strode toward the dancers
drunk and high the teens didnt take notice of their new visitors
screams eruopted from the night as they all fell victem
their bodies were found deprived from flesh and eaten
the cultests unknown from the dead that were slayed
a mystery even beyond the eternal grave
many belive no human could have done this deed
police belive cultests did it with their unbreakable creed
the younger generation knew exactly whats true
some of the things they saw, if only the police knew
hikers and bikers there have vanished without a trace
the wicked dead swallowing souls setting the death count pace
the problem worsened when houses were built around it
police reports have never before been filled with such strange shit
and still people die, brave little children among them
their bones picked clean, foot prints all around 'em
walls went up to seal the old graveyard
some say to keep the dead in barred
some say otherwise, hey its up to you
take the dare, climb the fence, you'll know exactly whats true!
