What I see and what I want
I see this world, so black and decayed
I see this life, so fragile and frayed
I see the corruption I see the pain
I see this life of mine all in vain
Kings sit high on their thrones and demons are born
The righteous try to stand and angels are torn
I see the hell I see the sky, tears come to my eyes
As the dawn of an old day lights up the blood red skies
I sense the hate and I can see the sky
No longer innocent, no longer can fly
I can feel the blade, I can taste the blood
I just wish I could do what I knew I could
I see the death and I see the sorrow
Will there be a new tomorrow?
So much emotion, a king could cry
I see the old and the young both wishing to die
What I want is a world free of pain
What I want is a kingdom not in vain
I want stone walls to be sanctuary
I want justice and love for all and any
I want a world where gods have no bounds
Where life is free and love surrounds
I want wars to be a thing of the past
I want tolerance to become an act at last
I want to know where my world will go
And I don’t want it all just for show
I want to know the secrets and hear the lies
So I can fix our problems and our ties
I want my blade to become my arm
A victory to all and none at harm
I want kids to live and the young to prosper
And in turn the old to be free to wander
I want a land where choices are made not given
And place where life is equal and even
Everyone’s happy as the days fly by
Joy reaching to the very sky
This is a world I cannot have, though I wish I could
Because humanity isn’t what it should
All this dreaming, all not a reality
All this suffering, the death of humanity
When kids die, it is said, a great tragedy is felt through the entire world. History is forever changed, lives are forever different, all because of one death that should never have been. Death, our final and our ultimate enemy and sin.
