Kissing the Darkness
shadows, my friends, soft and lifeless
my soul is bound to that which is heartless
cold, ignorant for those it consumes
the fear in all; in what the dark looms
the tint of velvet richness entwined by lace
the moon lit coolness, with a chocolate base
sings to me, the voice of midnight mistress
her slow 12 twines, her voice i shall miss
the hollow lands filled with liquid air
the essence of death filters through my hair
as the power of sleep radiates from the moon
rising dangerously close to mid-night noon
breath in the thrill of the night
the hunter's desire to kill and fight
the glowing eyes in the shadows, so quietly they stare
watching and waiting for weakness to appear
caress the beauty, let darkness stare
daring are we, driven by moon light fever
hold me close, my love, my darkness
my forever key, to a bed with my mistress
