untitled
I live in a city that I could never afford to explore
Vessels of opportunities that stretch far beyond this ever expanding galaxy
Invisible walls
Ghost like barriers
Glass ceilings position themselves like skyscrapers. . .
Looming overhead like tall buildings staring at the distance
Very small, I am
Walking tall, they say
In a city of giants
Raking vigorously until my back is disfigured from bending
Straps breaking from carrying a mighty heavy load
But Lo’ and behold
I have dreams of plenty
Pearls of wisdom
Bounties of joy
And a river of love and laughter
For I am a wealth of things
Perpetually rich, because I have access to the entire world which shall in a day lay at my feet
All that I am
All that I will be
Greater than today. . .
