Hurricane Katrina
There she is, a six year old girl being brutally violated after the storm
Raging waters claim the bodies of the ones who once could protect her
On the lap of a man who uses his body as a weapon, a force of involuntary mass destruction
Her tears spill into the hurricane made ocean blending and therefore virtually invisible
Weeping endures and subsides into screams
Her virtue apart of the storm and now just like the waters slowly floating away, draining into the nothing and pain of the past
He empties himself into the undeveloped contents of her immature womb
She was just a baby
And he betrayed her youth
Her flesh shredding like paper
Ripping and decaying
She like me reeks with the smell of a dead soul
Vacant spirit
Surrendering body
Collapsed organs
Failing lungs
He pants
She screams
Sobbing from her spirit
Innocence dying
Hands gripping water that evaporates
Splashing back to the earth
At last,
And when he is done exhausted from sheer pleasure in his sins
As he is delighted, she is obliterated
And
Tossed like a ragged doll,
Nothing can prepare her for her wrath
Nothing can save her from the pain
Not even the sun can shelter her from the darkness to come
A disastrous force of nature
Beckoning calamity at will
The skies shall open
And nothing is new
Pain tarnishes into pain
And the color of hurt blends into another canvas like moment fleeting in time
But for thine I thought was the power, and not even his dominion would savor her glory
As hell rejoices in this tragedy
May heaven one day receive her with thanksgiving and remember the pain of this babe that was endured after the hurricane
