I am in love with the art that is me
my skin, these flaws my beautiful womanly feministic sexuality...
I play under the covers and wiggle my nose
Thank God for my hands as I count my toes
I breathe in the pillows roll around in the sheets
Tuck my head deep into the mattress as
I bounce on the springs
I become unveiled taking in the mornings light
Counting each breath that I take thanking God that I am alive
Is everything alright?
No, but it doesn't have to be
Just grateful for this moment and the air that I breath,
The color of my skin, the hue of my eyes,
The blemishes that are mine, and the length of my smile,
The curve of my hips, the sway of my back,
The praise in my heart, the length of my hair,
the sparkle in my eyes, the full of my lips,
and the grace of my thighs
The glow of my face and the mornings dew,
I am honored, and I bow my head to a day anew
