**untitled**
a reminder of a time i cant forget
a life altering event
a vision i never saw that plays in my head
of the recently dead
an act of selfishness some would say
too afraid of the questions that remain
"how could you... why oh why...
"we didnt even get to say goodbye"
the final act of a conscious mind
to proud to have us watch her die
taking her life into her own hands
making the decision of where it ends
doing what she thought was right
ending the pain by taking her life
a bold statement she made to us all
a measure of strength ill forever recall
there are those who say she committed a sin
the only one that you cannot repent
a moment of weakness and the demons came in
and guided her to do what she did
where was her god when she needed him most
an imaginary friend nothing more than a joke
the god that she loved had abondoned her
and did not help when her weakness occured
so while others have anger for the thing that she did
and those people cast stones for unforgivable sin
i look to her god and give him my blame
and for my auntie jo i carry no shame
