twisted
i turn to find my direction
the world shifts with me... and
i lose my focus
tunnel vision invades my eyes
and all direction is lost
shadows move and dance in my peripheral
causing my mind to go blind... and
i taste confusion in back of my throat
with each turn my head swims
the light fades in and out
and my eyes see spots
my head bobbles and shifts on my shoulders
i feel dizzy... and light headed as
anxiety and adrenaline rip
through my cerebellum
i taste panic in my mouth
all around me walls appear
smashing into my face
causing my eyes to water
eroding bricks bleed moss
slimy and wet... dripping
smearing my clothes and staining my skin
wretched thoughts build new walls
i taste fear on my tongue
i feel trapped...
each step leads to another blocked path
each turn to another wretched thought
the world shifts twists and swirls
i look to the sky and it spins into my eyes
black and white to color and back again
tunnel vision leads to blindness
closing off my mind... the light shines
i taste the death of my soul
